After their encounter with the Romulans within The Neutral Zone, The U.S.S. Aster is finally heading back into the Bassen Rift in search of the Podell Homeworld. Upon arriving at the designated coordinates, they find the entire system surrounded in a much-more-intense version of the Rift’s usual shroud.
